Bookish Advent Calendar 2026

The festive season is fast approaching, meaning it's time to get your advent calendar ready! 

Our Merlin's Book Emporium Bookish Advent Calendar is now available to pre-order. With the choice of 24 or 12 days, our advent calendars come packed full of books and bookish themed gifts (all sourced from small businesses) for you to enjoy throughout December. 

Each item will come beautifully wrapped with a number on for each day, ready for you to unwrap and enjoy the surprise. 

How does it work? 

Once you pick how many days you'd like, you'll be able to pick from our three different options of genres and share your Goodreads link for us to review and pick your books. 

This means your advent calendar books will be handpicked just for you! 

What to expect?

24 Days Advent Calendar:

• 12 days of handpicked books just for you
• 12 days of bookish themed gifts such as bookmarks, candles, pins, notebooks, totebags, and more.

12 Days Advent Calendar: 

• 6 days of handpicked books just for you
• 6 days of bookish themed gifts such as bookmarks, wax melts, pins, totebags, and more. 

All books we pick will be tailored to you and will have a Goodreads rating of 3.5 or above. 

All orders will be shipped between the 9th and the 20th of November to ensure they arrive in time for the 1st of December. This means the last date to order your advent calendar will be the 1st of November to ensure we have enough time to pick, wrap and pack your advent calendar. 

Please note, due to the customised natured of these advent calendars, they are non-refundable.
