Merlin's Book Emporium is an independent online bookshop with a focus on Fantasy and Horror. Founded in 2025 after many days of day dreaming about opening a cosy bookshop cafe nestled away in the Peak District.
But that's yet to come... For now, welcome to our online shop!
Meet Merlin
Our CEO & inspiration
When Merlin isn't sleeping, he's out exploring. He enjoys spending his days getting as many sniffs in as possible and tackling his older brother Dobby.
Merlin joined the Scottow Diozzi family in March 2025 when they spotted him on the RSPCA website. He's named after the Wizard from Sword in the Stone, and now our bookshop is named after him!

Our Bookseller & Owner
If Lucy isn't writing, she's probably reading or working on Merlin's Book Emporium. She's always loved reading, her obsession started with Jacqueline Wilson and escalated with Twilight. Although she loves a variety of genres, Fantasy and Horror are her favourite!
Lucy has always dreamed of opening a bookshop of her own, where she can share her love for books and writing. This is just the beginning for Merlin's Book Emporium, she's got a lot planned for it...
